Type specimen: Poinar 194-21, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, near Jezzine and Dar al-Baidha (Poinar collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.

Distribution: found only at Lebanese amber, near Jezzine and Dar al-Baidha (Poinar collection)
