Sister taxa: Asaphiscus (Blainia) glabra, Asaphiscus (Blainia) gregarius, Asaphiscus (Blainia) paula, Blainia centerensis

Type specimen: USNM 145023, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is USNM 23w, which is in a Solvan/Menevian carbonate limestone in the Pleasant Hill Limestone Formation of Pennsylvania.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Solvan of United States (2: Pennsylvania collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
