Type specimen: USNM 145029, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is USNM 23t, which is in a Solvan/Menevian carbonate limestone in the Pleasant Hill Limestone Formation of Pennsylvania.

Ecology: fast-moving epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at USNM 23t
