Type specimen: UT-32095, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Bureau of Economic Geology loc. 16T-6-9A, which is in a Guzhangian marine sandstone in the Riley Formation of Texas.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
