Type specimen: INGEMMET CPI 7936, a tooth (M2 crown). Its type locality is Santa Rosa (LACM Loc. 6289), which is in a Rupelian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Yahuarango Formation of Peru.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Santa Rosa (LACM Loc. 6289)
