Type specimen: BMNH L.82974, a shell. Its type locality is Awgu, below government station, which is in a Coniacian marine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Awgu Limestone Formation of Nigeria.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Awgu, below government station
