Type specimen: LACM DI 158109, a partial skeleton (an incomplete and partially disarticulated skeleton preserving an anteriorly incomplete skull embedded in ventrolateral view, associated with shoulder girdle el). Its type locality is Favret Canyon, Augusta Mountains (LACM 8031), which is in an Illyrian marine limestone/shale in the Favret Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Favret Canyon, Augusta Mountains (LACM 8031)
