Type specimen: USNM 214243, a shell. Its type locality is Sand Island core (S-22), 42.3 m depth, Midway Atoll, which is in a Pleistocene carbonate packstone in United States Minor Outlying Islands.
Ecology: epifaunal
Distribution: found only at Sand Island core (S-22), 42.3 m depth, Midway Atoll
