Type specimen: NHMUK II S.4045a,b, a forewing. Its type locality is Smokejacks Brickworks (BMNH collection), which is in a Barremian pond claystone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Smokejacks Brickworks (BMNH collection)
