Type specimen: MSM 7242, a shell. Its type locality is M. S. M. 72.51. Rolla, which is in a Jeffersonian carbonate dolomite in the Rich Fountain Formation of Missouri.

Ecology: fast-moving nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at M. S. M. 72.51. Rolla
