Type specimen: MNT NEL 1928, a tegmen. Its type locality is Menat (MNT collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France.
Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling grazer-herbivore
Distribution: found only at Menat (MNT collection)
