Type specimen: IANIGLA-PI 1060a-b, a forewing (incomplete forewing; only distal half of wing is preserved, with apex and part of anterior margin with most of the pterostigma missing; counterpart is preserved). Its type locality is Quebrada del Durazno, Cerro Cacheuta (IANIGLA collection), which is in a Carnian lacustrine delta plain shale in the Potrerillos Formation of Argentina.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Quebrada del Durazno, Cerro Cacheuta (IANIGLA collection)
