Type specimen: IGM 3655, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Cerro Rajon, 3, which is in a Meishucunian/Tommotian shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Puerto Blanco Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Cambrian of Canada (1: Northern Territories collection), Mexico (1)
