Type specimen: AMNH FM 102646 (previously QMAM 168), a partial skeleton (badly crushed cranium and associated partial postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Lake Pinpa Site C, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Namba Formation of Australia.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Lake Pinpa Site C
