Type specimen: CVEB 21901, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Jiaojiadian area B, near Zhanmatian village, which is in a Pliensbachian terrestrial siltstone in the Fengjiahe Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Jiaojiadian area B, near Zhanmatian village
