Type specimen: MNHN.F.LES381m, a limb element (right tibia). Its type locality is Thotobolo ea 'Ma-beata (zone A/4), which is in a Norian lacustrine sandstone/claystone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.

Distribution: found only at Thotobolo ea 'Ma-beata (zone A/4)
