Sister taxa: Eostrix martinellii, Eostrix mimica, Eostrix tsaganica, Eostrix vincenti

Type specimen: SMF Av 627, a limb element (distal end of right tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is Fisher/Sullivan Site, which is in a Ypresian coastal sandstone in the Nanjemoy Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: volant carnivore

Distribution: found only at Fisher/Sullivan Site
