Type specimen: MLP 98-XI-1-1, a mandible (left dentary). Its type locality is Corte Blanco, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian floodplain limestone/marl in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Corte Blanco
