Sister taxa: Perspicuus csincsii, Perspicuus pilosus
Type specimen: SNM Z 40037, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Slovak National Museum SNM collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
Ecology: fast-moving arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Slovak National Museum SNM collection)
