Type specimen: MSNPN-PC No. 820, a skeleton. Its type locality is Piatra Pinului, which is in a Rupelian marine shale in the Kliwa Sandstone Formation of Romania.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Piatra Pinului
