Sister taxa: Chenoanas deserta, Chenoanas sansaniensis
Type specimen: PIN 4869/68, a limb element (proximal fragment of right humerus). Its type locality is Sharga 2, which is in a Serravallian terrestrial horizon in the Oshin Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: volant herbivore
