Type specimen: NHMUK IC 1674, an other (carinolatus). Its type locality is Shawnee Creek, which is in an Albian carbonate marl in the Kiamichi Formation of Texas.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Shawnee Creek
