Sister taxon: Protaneuretus succineus
Type specimen: GZG.BST.27160, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Bitterfeld amber (Kutscher Gottingen collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Germany.

Distribution: found only at Bitterfeld amber (Kutscher Gottingen collection)
