Sister taxa: Meristodonoides butleri, Meristodonoides montanensis, Meristodonoides multiplicatus, Meristodonoides novojerseyensis
Type specimen: AMNH 19705, a tooth. Its type locality is Hanna-Bennett Mine dumps, Keewatin, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Coleraine Formation of Minnesota.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Canada (3: Alberta, Saskatchewan collections), United States (1: Minnesota)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
