Type specimen: MNHN MAJ 423-430, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Ankinganivalaka, which is in a Bathonian terrestrial limestone in the Isalo III Formation of Madagascar.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Ankinganivalaka
