Type specimen: NHMUK P.66273, a tooth. Its type locality is Middle B beds, Speeton, which is in a Barremian offshore shale in the Speeton Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Middle B beds, Speeton
