Type specimen: AMNH 12169a, a tooth. Its type locality is South Sulphur River, Commerce, which is in a Maastrichtian marine claystone/sandstone in the Kemp Clay Formation of Texas.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (8: Arkansas, Maryland, North Carolina, North Dakota, Texas collections)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
