Type specimen: UCMP 398607, a shell. Its type locality is UCMP Loc. B-2368, Dip Creek, which is in a Maastrichtian/Paleocene marine sandstone in California.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution: found only at UCMP Loc. B-2368, Dip Creek
