Type specimen: MCD-7149, a partial skeleton (anterior part of the rostrum and several axial and appendicular elements). Its type locality is El Mirador, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial marl in the La Posa Formation of Spain.

Ecology: planktonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at El Mirador
