Sister taxa: Orectoloboides angulatus, Orectoloboides parvulus, Orectoloboides reyndersi
Type specimen: TUB-SFB69-Vb-397, a tooth. Its type locality is Gebel el Dist, Bahariya Oasis, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine siliciclastic in the Bahariya Formation of Egypt.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Gebel el Dist, Bahariya Oasis
