Type specimen: MCNC-85-72V, a set of limb elements (Femora). Its type locality is Urumaco, Biozona 3 Loc 26-FU, which is in a Miocene floodplain shale/sandstone in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Urumaco, Biozona 3 Loc 26-FU
