Type specimen: Geological Survey of Israel, M-7903. Its type locality is Makhtesh Ramon (Saharonim Fm., upper Fossiliferous Limestone Mb.), which is in a Fassanian carbonate limestone in the Saharonim Formation of Israel.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Makhtesh Ramon (Saharonim Fm., upper Fossiliferous Limestone Mb.)
