Type specimen: LACMIP 7552. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 9196, Cantinas Creek, which is in a Maastrichtian marine conglomerate in the El Piojo Formation of California.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at LACMIP loc. 9196, Cantinas Creek
