Type specimen: EGPPA-MPTA 207.13307, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is San Marzanotto d’Asti, which is in a Pliocene marine horizon in the Sabbie d’Asti Formation of Italy.
Ecology: aquatic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at San Marzanotto d’Asti
