Belongs to Chuanqianoproetus according to W. W. Yuan et al. 2020
Sister taxa: Chuanqianoproetus constrictus, Chuanqianoproetus shuangheensis
Type specimen: Gt-385 (dorsal shield). Its type locality is Donghuaxi, which is in a Telychian marine mudstone in the Xiushan Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Silurian of China (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
