Type specimen: UFAC 2793, a partial skull (right part of a rostrum). Its type locality is Talismã, upper Purus River, which is in a Tortonian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/claystone in the Solimões Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Talismã, upper Purus River
