Belongs to Fuscinipyge according to A. R. Ormiston 1976
Sister taxa: Fuscinipyge (Ormistonaspis), Fuscinipyge applanata, Fuscinipyge inflata
Type specimen: Its type locality is Shell Canada Lot 5264, Many Beaver Lake area, NTS 106G, which is in an Eifelian marine horizon in the Hume Formation of Canada
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Devonian of Canada (4: Northwest Territories collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
