Type specimen: GSC No. 18174, an exoskeleton (nearly complete specimen). Its type locality is Twilight Section, Bathurst Island, Unit 19, Bird Fiord Formation, which is in an Eifelian transition zone/lower shoreface siltstone/shale in the Bird Fiord Formation of Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Devonian of Canada (15: Nunavut, Yukon collections)
Total: 15 collections each including a single occurrence
