Sister taxon: Eosoproetus laevigatus
Type specimen: Its type locality is C007. Zhusilenghaierhan area, which is in an Eifelian marine sandstone in the Yikewsusu Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Devonian of China (5 collections)
Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
