Type specimen: AU19053, E874, a calyx. Its type locality is AU19053, Ardlogie Station lime-pit (J40/f053A), which is in a Waitakian carbonate limestone in the Otekaike Limestone Formation of New Zealand.
Ecology: facultatively mobile intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
