Etymology. Named after Herrn Paul Uko, the finder of the fossil.

Type specimen: NHMW 176/1956, a partial shell. Its type locality is Gramatneusiedl, which is in a Tortonian pond limestone in Austria.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Gramatneusiedl
