Type specimen: AMF 28627, a cephalon/head (internal mould of dorsal shield). Its type locality is NU L404. Nooroo - Stroud Road cutting, Nooroo, which is in a Visean marine mudstone/siltstone in the Wootton Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
