Type specimen: MPEF-PV 4849, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with m1-3 and alveolus for m4 (Fig.). Its type locality is Southern Cliff of lower Chubut River Valley, near Gaiman, which is in a Colhuehuapian paralic mudstone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Southern Cliff of lower Chubut River Valley, near Gaiman
