Sister taxa: Mongoma fragillima, Trentepohlia (Mongoma) cruciferella, Trentepohlia (Mongoma) pallescens

Type specimen: JMP 2365, an exoskeleton (wing). Its type locality is Sumatran amber, Sinamar area (Pouillon collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Indonesia.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Sumatran amber, Sinamar area (Pouillon collection)
