Type specimen: GSC 57893. Its type locality is GSC C73715, headwaters of Gayna River (76AC-2), which is in a Tonian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Stone Knife Formation of Canada.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal "photoautotroph"

Distribution:

• Ediacaran of China (2 collections)

• Tonian of Canada (4: Northwest Territories)

• Neoproterozoic of China (3)

Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
