Type specimen: LACMIP 8242. Its type locality is CIT loc. 1400, Bluff on south side of Fossil Cove, east end of Sucia Island, which is in a Campanian coastal shale in Washington.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at CIT loc. 1400, Bluff on south side of Fossil Cove, east end of Sucia Island
