Type specimen: AMF27747/AMF28010 (external mould of dorsal shield/internal mould of counterpart). Its type locality is NU L1039. Glen William Road, 3km north of Clarence Town, which is in a Visean marine sandstone in the Flagstaff Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at NU L1039. Glen William Road, 3km north of Clarence Town
