Type specimen: LACMIP 1070, a shell. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 68-A, Newport Bay, which is in a Pleistocene coastal sandstone/sandstone in the Palos Verdes Formation of California.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Quaternary of United States (2: California collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
