Type specimen: IITR/SB/257, an otolith. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine (marine vertebrates), which is in a Ypresian marine siliciclastic in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Vastan Lignite Mine (marine vertebrates)
