Type specimen: SMTE 5930/1–162, a nymph (larva). Its type locality is Schönbachsmühle quarry, near Ebelsbach, which is in a Tuvalian pond shale in the Hassberge Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Schönbachsmühle quarry, near Ebelsbach
